Faith-based yoga class for Ladies of Lee University winter retreat 2025
For the second consecutive year, I had the pleasure of teaching a Christ-centered yoga class to the Lee University women’s choir, Ladies of Lee, for their 2025 winter retreat in January.
As they spend their weekend together doing rehearsals and development, a yoga class provides the opportunity for bonding, fellowship and laughter.
This group of young women is such a joy to get to be with. They often giggle throughout class when they hear yoga words like “dead bug” and “happy baby.”
My intent in teaching special event yoga classes like this is to first encourage and relieve apprehension individuals might hold as they enter yoga class. Then to help release stress or tension as we move through intention movement geared towards any experience level. I hope individuals get to laugh, be inspired and make a special memory together. And then spend a final moment to end in reverence, worship, meditation or prayer.
Teaching yoga classes like this is a great joy to me!
Take a look at what they said after their special event yoga class!

“Christine’s enthusiastic and encouraging leadership throughout the class!”
Would you recommend this class to others?
“This class is such a great experience! I felt refreshed physically and spiritually upon leaving that room, having been encouraged by scripture and the presence of the Lord. 10/10 would recommend!”
