Join me for Outdoor Yoga pop-up classes November 5 & 7
One thing to celebrate about the end of daylight savings time is that we can take our 4:30 p.m. Faith-Based Yoga class outdoors! As long as the weather is dry, join us for outdoor yoga on the lawn across from the Cleveland Family YMCA on Tuesday, November 5 and Thursday, November 7 at 4:30 p.m. The sun will be lower in the sky and the weather warm enough to provide us (hopefully) ideal conditions to enjoy being outside.
Outdoor yoga is a very special sensory experience. Although it won’t be a perfectly controlled environment, it gives the opportunity to really engage our senses, noticing all the sights, sounds and smells around us. What a beautiful opportunity to notice autumn shifting and transforming nature around us.
Following class, we will enjoy a mini social / meet and greet for about 15 minutes. A nourishing, refreshing drink will be served as we gather!
Dress for the weather. Bring a lightweight long-sleeve in case the temperature drops towards the end of class. You are welcome to bring a beach towel or blanket to place under your yoga mat to keep the grass off.
When you arrive, please stop into the YMCA front desk to scan your membership as usual. Then head across the parking lot to the big field to join us for class. If you are a member, bring a friend! Just have them fill out a guest form with their ID at the front desk. If you are not a member, you are welcome to be my free guest! (Guests can visit the Y two times per year.) Message me on IG @surrenderedyoga or on Facebook: Christine Branson.
If there is rain or wet conditions, class will take place indoors at the Cleveland YMCA like usual at the aerobics room.
